Should not be be a problem, but watch out for rejects.
Also, IIRC you need to bootstrap the sources after applying the patch.
See the bootstrap.sh script (probably only available in CVS).

I don't know. Not using WCCP. But I think Visolve says something along
these lines on their WCCPv2 page...
