Thanks very much for the information. Can you
elaborate a bit? There's no indication in the links
you provided below what the level of completion is,
what's left to be done, or if it's even usable.

It appears the squid patch is already in the latest
stable version, correct?

I will be running this on Linux 2.4.20.
