Hi.
I am trying to implement squid in a switched environment
I need some light, I was using squid as gateway and it was working fine. I
need to set it up with the switch, to have a failover plan.
In the switch environment,
- will I need the to Ethernet interfaces?
- Will I need the iptable rules at the server?
- Can I do it without running WCCP on the switch?
- If I decide to use WCCP, the WCCP of squid is compatible
with cisco's WCCP?
- If someone has a WCCP switch and server setup, could you
forward your setups?
Thanks,

Hi,
Could Squid also be vulnerable to the same DOS as MS proxy 2.0?
