RE: [squid-users] NTLM authentification failed

Hi Henrik,

You have reason the rpm package was not compiled with winbind
challenge/response.

Now, the authentification is ok.

But i have an other problem when i want to shutdown the process.

./squid -k shutdown return :
FATAL: Could not determine fully qualified hostname. please set

I do not think that the RedHat RPM have challenge/response winbind
support enabled..

See the Squid FAQ on winbind for Samba installation requirements for
using ntlm.
