[squid-users] cache questions

Hello All,

I'm currently running Squid-2.5.STABLE1 in production.

I've installed Squid-2.5.STABLE2 in separate directory, using separate
port for testing.
I'm using same STABLE1 squid.conf for STABLE2, except I've changed
STABLE2 squid.conf cache-dir from
 cache_dir ufs /d1/squid_cache 2048 16 256
     to
 cache_dir aufs /d1/squid_cache 3072 16 256

Questions, will above changes (STABLE2 using same cache, but with aufs
and 3gig specified) impact existing STABLE1 in procduction?
