[squid-users] Squid does not cache some objects ?

Hi,

for some reasons my squid does not cache some objects...

For instance, if I access multiple times
http://thumb-3a.image.altavista.com/image/208520610 from my browser, the
squid access.log file shows that the object is never in the cache:
(note between every download I clear the cache of my browser to make
sure the object is always requested to squid)

Are there any reasons for that ? The object is a jpeg, small like many
others that are cached...

This can easily be reproduced when looking for an image at
http://www.altavista.com/image/default and then, trying to download an
object contained in the page using an url such as the one I first
mentioned.
