this is how I handle this:

acl bigfiles urlpath_regex \.mp3$ \.avi$ \.mpg$ \.mpeg$ \.ace$ \.rar$ \.mp3.
\.avi. \.mpg. \.mpeg. \.ace. \.rar.
no_cache deny bigfiles
http_access deny bigfiles
