[squid-users] Squid response time

Hi All,

I have been using the CacheMgr - Median Service Times (MST) as a
measurement for the Squid response time.

Recently, I was given the following setup:

 --------- ---------
| Squid 1 | --> Transparent hijack --> | Squid 2 |
 --------- ---------

What puzzled me was the fact that MST for Squid 1 is much less than the
MST for Squid 2...

1. What does Median Service Times mean? How is it being calculated?
2. Is there any way to monitor the actual response time of Squid 1?
