I think you are using transparent proxying.
Ask the user to configure his/her browser to use the proxy. This will
allow them to ask the cache to refresh the page by simply pushing the
reload button.. at least unless you have explicitly configured Squid to
not do such things.. (which is a violation to the HTTP specs, and you
probably know if you have done so..)
