What if you swap the order? Have the client goto WEBSweeper and have it
goto Squid.

Subject: [squid-users] WEBSweeper and Squid
Hi,
I have an issue using squid 2.4 STABLE 6 and Clearswift WEBSweeper
4.5.
We are using the Squid box as a proxy only, which is working fine, the
WEBSweeper server is setup as the policy based caching server for all
web requests (content, anti-virus etc)
The problem I am having is when you select a file which is larger than
5mb, the WEBSweeper server will download this to the cache directory on
it's hard drive for virus scannin etc, while this is going on, the user
is supposed to se a progress message showing the URL of the download,
file size and % complete. (This is to stop the browser timing out)
The issue is, I can't get Squid to pass this message back to the
requesting user. If you look in the access.log
(/usr/local/squid/logs/access.log) you can see that the request is being
processed and the progress message is there also, but it is not getting
to the browser.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Simon.
