Everyone,
I am receiving an error message stating that the following URL is denied
due to Access control settings...
http://www.magnaint.com/magnaWeb.nsf/webpages/Company+Info?OpenDocument
However, this URL will bring up what the above URL is supposed to bring
up...
http://www.magnaint.com/magnaWeb.nsf/webpages/Company+Info
It appears to have something to do with the '?' because when just that
is left on the end, I receive the same error message. Is this an issue
with Squid or could it be related to my ACLs keeping Porn sites from our
network?
I am using the ACL URL_REGEXP with a 'porn' and 'noporn' list at this
time. While I have found and read that it is better to use something like
Squid-guard for what I am doing, at this time, there is simply not enough
time in the day/week/month for me to work that issue out. I have a few
security concerns and a few much more important things to implement
before I can get back to changing my Squid installation. So please, do
not suggest changing to a different filtering method, unless there is
absolutely no other way to fix this minor issue.
I can advise to the user with the complaint to remove the trailing
?OpenDocument portion off of the URL as a short-term workaround.
