 Probably , in essence ,not related to dhl at all :-)
 Assertion failed is related to internal consistency checking within
 and or 'avoiding' unforeseen conditions.

 You may want to upgrade to the latest stable release 2.5S1.

 If the problem persists, then file a bug report.
