[squid-users] best place for assertion failed: errorpage.c:271: "mem->inmem_hi == 0"

I am testing squid working with icap. I am using squid icap client patch
(1.2.1) from source forge. When I test the squid I get the following
error.

2003/01/23 15:04:35| assertion failed: errorpage.c:271: "mem->inmem_hi
== 0"

in the cache.log file.

After this squid executes a normal startup sequence.

This is regardless of url entered in the browser. (e.g.
www.google.com)
There are no entries in access.log nor anything other than normal
startup sequence in cache.log

When I disable ICAP in squid.conf the error does not occur.

OS is linux redhat 8.0
Squid is 2.5 stable 1
ICAP server is Finjan's released version 7.0 of their icap enabled
surfingate server,

I have also put this issue on the squid-icapclient mailing list.

Any one in the main squid arena able to offer any assistance?
