Hi,
The FAQ mentioned that Squid-2 has a built-in feature.
How do I turn on this feature so that my squid can
start automatically ?
Currently, I have to type "squid" at the command
prompt each time after Solaris 8 is started.
FAQ also mentioned about adding the line :
sq:3:respawn:/usr/local/squid/bin/squid.sh < /dev/null
>> /tmp/squid.log 2>&1
in /etc/inittab file (Digital Unix, Solaris, IRIX,
HP-UX, Linux). But it's meant for Squid Version 1.1.X.
Can i use this for squid 2.5 stable 1 ?
Pls advise.
Thanks for your assistance.
