[squid-users] redirect

I am studing the source of squid,and meet a problem.
I want to know :what is the condition of calling clientRedirectDown() in
the source
I see the clientRedirectDown register in the function redirectStart,but I
donnt know what bring on it.
anybody give me some advice for it?
