[squid-users] question about ssl

Hi everybody,
I am using Squid 2.5S1.
I tried out the ssl-gateway option and it worked. But I have seen, that in
this case the traffic between squid and the web server behind is not
encrypted.
Is this also possible? (without using the connect method?)
Any help is appreceated.
