Really? I can not get 4.1.2 to work. That is the only one that sleepycat
offers now. Can you tell me where I can find 3.2.9? Everything I have seen

Use BDB 3.2.9, other versions I could never get to work. Also once installed
change the Berkeley Directory from /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2.9 to
/usr/local/BerkeleyDB
