RE: [squid-users] While rotating log files DNSSERVER becaomes defunct

I'm also running squid with the --disable-internal-dns option, and also rotating the log files automactially. Did you uses the "squid -k rotate" command? I do it with this command and it restart the DNSSERVER process by itself, you can see it at the new log file cache.log. Here are the lines I get after "squid -k rotate":
