I have never really followed the NT threads in this list. Maybe the NTLM
auth module will do what you want. Check the FAQs and archives.

Regarding the DNS maybe you could try either "emulate_httpd_log" from
squid.conf (dunno if it logs hostname vs ip) or use one of the log
ananlysers which will/may do the ip->name translation, or write a little
perl wrapper (converts time to something readable and writes hostname
rather than ip)for looking at the logs.
