Subject: [squid-users] squid reports "can not bind socket FD XX to *:8080
(98) Address in Use
Hi, guys
I am running squid 2.4/STABLE 4 on RedHat 7.1.
Squid reports
"Cannot bind socket FD XX to *:8080 (98) Address already in use". FATAL
Cannot open HTTP Port."
If I do nestat -na, it shows 0.0.0.0:8080 : LISTENING. I am sure no-other
application is running on port 8080 on my PC.
What could be the problem ?
It some sort of urget.
Any help or hint or suggestion, appriciated.,..
Thanks
J
