RE: [squid-users] winbind authentication, mystical ?

Will WinBind be included in Squid 2.5 Final or is it not considered
finished enough to be included?

It simply asks winbindd if the supplied credentials are correct. There
is no Squid specific configuration needed to be done in Samba except
that you need to enable winbindd support for challenge/response if
you plan on using ntlm.. (ntlm uses challenge/response based
credentials)
