        I runned to very same problem! There are some variables that are
non implemented or broken in squid and 'cacheClientHttpRequests' is one of
them. Use instead:

Target[hit]:
cacheHttpHits&cacheProtoClientHttpRequests:public@xxx.yyy.zzz.www:3401

that will give you the same value for most common configs. Look at
squid-mib.txt for detail on 'cacheProtoClientHttpRequests'.
