[squid-users] Transparent proxy problem

hi,
   
  i hope that anyone can help me on this .... here is the scenario....

  i got the following

        hardware
                intel pentium III 550 Mhz with 256 MB
                10 gb SCSI hard drive
        software
                red hat linux 6.0
                squid stable3
        
        here is the problem .... at first my transparent proxy works fine with the
IP address of 203.170.x.x netmask 255.255.255.0 ... it works fine .. but
when i try to change it to another ip address using 203.177.x.x netmask
255.255.255.128 the proxy works fine for the first 30 min. but after that
.... it dies ... what could possibly be wrong ..
