Subject: [squid-users] Users changing proxy settings in browsers
What solutions are available to prohibit users from changing the proxy
settings in their browsers without running squid as a transparent proxy?
My filtering rules work great as long as the browsers' proxy settings
are pointing to the squid box. We currently have Fortres in place
(http://www.fortres.com), but there seem to be ways around this program
(see http://63.163.172.49/).
