Squid is an HTTP proxy only. It can handle URLs of the form:
ftp://....
but that's because the browser sends an HTTP request to the proxy and
expects the proxy to do the FTP bit. However since you're doing
transparent proxying, the browsers don't know there's a proxy so they
won't make an HTTP connection, they'll go straight to the FTP port, which
squid knows nothing about. So, the answer is NO.
