Yes I've moved to iptables. I was also running dns
server which and had nameserver 0.0.0.0 in my
/etc/resolv.conf. I've changed to to point to my other
dns server. Previously dns server was consuming cpu
after squid. Now dns server is not consuming much cpu.
Everything seems to work fine till now. It's been 5
hours and the proxy is running smoothly.
