Hi everybody!
I configured my router do transparently redirect Web traffic (using WCCP) to a cache server. Everythig is functioning perfectly when my cache server is on. However I realized a strange behavior: even when the cache server is off, the router continues to redirect the Web traffic to the cache server and all my clients cannot navigate on the Internet. Did you perceive that?
In my opinion, withou falt tolerance, the WCCP solution isn't satisfactory. When the server dies I have to disable WCCP or change the access-list redirect policy on the router. So, it isn't a reasonable solution, at least for me!! Do you know any solution for my problem? Please... help me!!!
