Hello-
Trying to find some configuration feature that could take me out from the
situation I am right now (can't use Squid with more than 60 reqs/s) I found
an .conf file example which is told to work very good.
The problem is that when trying to set cache_mem to, for example, 256 MB,
Squid tells me that its size should be limited to the size of cache swap.
So, the maximum value I could use would be 64 MB.
Two questions arouse: 1) does someone know if cache_mem can be an important
variable affecting performance? The current value is 8 MB, which differs
largely from the one in the example conf file; 2) how and where should I set
a larger cache swap, so as not to be so limited?
Thanks in advance for any answer,
Andres Biscione
