The log entry is not written to disk until after the request and, even
then, it's buffered by the OS first. NFS will require more CPU time and
bandwidth then a local drive, however.
The big issue with logging over NFS is, when NFS goes down, squid goes
with it. Squid is vulnerable to a vast array of single points of failure,
each of them more likely to fail than a hard drive.
