Squid only proxy (not transparent)

Slackware 8.0 kernel 2.4.12-ac3 (upgraded after trying 2.4.10 - same
problemm)

Not at all (played with is some with no result, then recompiled without
any configure options)

Again played a lot with squid.conf then leaved default only add ACL
No firewall, no ECN options in kernel
First was squid-2.4.stable2 then tried latest snapshot of 2.4
