I won't claim to be an expert on this, but I've had to play around with ACL
order to get this to work, but I know it can. Others on the list may be
able to be more helpful in this regard. Hopefully this might help you move
in the right direction to get it working.

Subject: [squid-users] Http_accel mode, authentication of multiple
hosts?
I am running squid in accel modem for quite some time now.
I have it running wth the authenticate option compiled:
after configure I put in the src/makefile
DEFINES= -DAUTH_ON_ACCELERATION
Here is my question:
I run the accelerator as a virtual host.
My users need to authenticate for ALL individual hosts. Is there a way
around this?
(If no, they have bad luck..)
