Sir:
One of our large account customer (the french electricity company EDF) is using Squid.
We have developped an application for them which is accessed through a java applet. This applet is a query applet that allows the user to make plain text requests.
The application server is hosted outside EDF and is running on a Windows NT Server with Tomcat and IIS.
There is no problem with this applet when you access the site outside EDF.
But when you access it at EDF, the first 4 or 5 queries are OK then the queries never reach the server.
As we don't have any knowledge on Squid and on how Squid behave with java, I will appreciate any help on this problem.
I also would like to know any squid specialist in Paris.
Thank you
Regards

A similar test application can be found at the following URL : http://195.154.192.131/alogic2/
This application has two mode : If you want to get through a firewall you have to click on "parefeu" check box.
Then you type a word on the first line. By example "BSE" the words begining by BSE appears in the right window and to get the results you click on the search button.
