[squid-users] poly&squid

Hi List,

        
I am using Redhat7.1

kernel 2.2.19
RAM 512MB
100BaseT
disk 18GB SCSI 10000RPM

squid.conf

cache_mem 100
cache_dir ufs /cache0 6000 9 256
cache_dir ufs /cache0 6000 9 256

How many request the above setup should satisfy.

I am filling the cache once and I am using the same filled cache for the other test with different request rate will it affect the performance?

One more doubt, which one will be the adviceable and why?

this is for the scenario of 1X19GB disk

1.Creating the different partions for th cache dir
2. creating the two directories and giving that for the cache_dir
