Here's an excerpt from my squid.conf:
=============================================
# TAG: htcp_port
# The port number where Squid sends and receives HTCP queries to
# and from neighbor caches. Default is 4827. To disable use
# "0".
#
# To enable this option, you must use --enable-htcp with the
# configure script.
#
#Default:
# htcp_port 4827
htcp_port 0
=============================================
But still, when i start Squid, i get this thing in cache.log:
2001/08/22 16:28:05| Accepting HTCP messages on port 0, FD 43.
Isn't 0 supposed to disable the service?
It's squid-2.4STABLE1 with all patches applied, running on Irix-6.5,
compiled with MIPSPro.
