well i ve been using redhat linux 6.2
i upgraded the kernel to 2.2.19
my glibc version is 2.1.3-22
i hv used squid2.2S1 with diskd but the results r the
same
i m sure i ve not missed anything

echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_sack
echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_timestamps
i m absloutely bugged at these starnge errors
what does it actually imply
could u tell me a particular config in term sof the
kernel , squid and tune up parameters that might help
me
i did compile the kernel and squid after making the
foll changes
FD_SETSIZE to 16384 in /usr/include/bits/types.h and
and posix_limits.h
changed NR_FILE to 65536
changed NR_TASK to4000
MAX_TASK_PER_USER to 2000
shud i degrade or upgrade the kernel???
PLS HELP ME OUT
i am at my wits end
seeking help from all squid Gurus
