So in a nutshell, the Netscape proxy can't handle http/1.0 requests.
Thats the problem. It would be every interesting to know what it is
(other than the http version number) that is causing the error.

Probably squid 3.0 :]. Seriously though, the only major thing is
transfer encoding, (which has problems with the current squid
internals). This is an in progress thing. If you wnat to play with it -
alpha code, you are own your own here - the transfer encoding branch at
sourceforge will identify itself as an http/1.1 client.
