Basically my LDAP setup goes a little like this:
authenticate_program /etc/squid/libexec/squid/squid_ldap_auth -D cn
=(someuser) -w (somepassword) -f uid=%s 192.168.1.22
And the ACL's are no different than normal:
acl users proxy_auth REQUIRED
http_access allow users
As long as the LDAP server is configured correctly, that should get you
running!

Greetings,
Would someone please show or explain to me the relationship between
proxy_auth and ldap_auth and setting them up to authenticate individual
users against an LDAP server. I would be extremely gratefull is someone
could give me an example of a working squid.conf showing the relevant acl's
and http_access lines and anything else particular to getting this to work.
Cheers
Peter
