I'm runnning Squid as an accelerator on port 80 with a redirector that is
currently rewriting GET and POST requests.
If an HTTP method is not configured for use in my redirector, like HEAD, for
example, I get a forwading loop, since the redirector doesn't rewrite the
URL, and tries to contact itself.
How harmful is this? Any HEAD requests that hit Squid cause forwarding
loops. I can likly fix this without any issues in my redirector, but I'm
wondering what sorts of problems are caused otherwise?
