Hi there,
I have a Squid with proxy authentication NCSA and about 220 users. Every
user has it's own acls-set based on proto ftp, connect and so on. That is
working just like a charm. COU usage max. 2%
Now some users (the majority) got a blockinglist made of 1000 regex ... this
results in a tremndous performance drop. 100% CPU usage, very bad
performance after all.
So, is there any cure ? I have read thet I can compile squid using a btree,
would that fix my problem ? Would squid- guard fix my problem ? Or can my
problem only be addressed by commercial stuff like websense ??
Many Thanks,
