[squid-users] FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying.

I am becoming quite desperate to figure this one out. Help me please! I am
trying to compile Squid 2.4-STABLE 1 on OpenBSD 2.9. I noticed that it is
not on the list of systems that work, but I have heard on numerous
occasions of people getting it to work. I have also searched the FAQ, but
found nothing to help in my quest.
The only option that I have added to the configure was the prefix
statement. It compiled and installed without and errors. I followed the
manual on the web site and when I get to the point of testing the program I
run into a problem. I run squid with -N -d 1 -D and then try to connect to
it using the client program and client runs with no output and the server
exits. Cache.log looks like this:
