[squid-users] Using an image as Deny_info

Hi all,

I know that this question has been asked before in a different guise, but
I'm stuck with using deny_info.

I want to be able to use a gif as a custom error message, to replace denied
graphics. My ACLs all work as they are meant to, and the gif is even
returned as the error page, but squid has appended it's footers to the
image.

I don't want to remove the squid footers from any other squid generated
page - I'm _proud_ to be using it, but for image replacement it's not very
handy.

I know that this used to work, because I've used elements from a config file
that I used with an older copy of Squid (where it behaved impecably). What
has changed, and why? It would be very handy to be able to do this - indeed
I would possibly go as far as to say that previously available functionality
has been broken.

All help greatly received!

Simon
