I was using glibc 2.1.3-15, which version of glibc you were/are using ? May
be this is the only thing that is broken somewhere in default RH 6.2 as
pointed by you a few months ago on the same subject.
Output of 'gcc -v' was :
'gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)'
I can get a stack trace to find out whether it is a Squid bug , the only
hesitation is my Squid server is a production server running in a network of
an ISP, serving hundreds of users 24 hours a day. To get a stack trace i
have to stop this for sometime unless i get an alternate.
