I'm using on a Solaris Squid 2.3 STABLE 4 with a MS parent the following
syntax:
cache_peer xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx parent 80 0 no-query login=domains\username:password
Are you sure that basic authentication is working ? Have you test it with
Netscape browser ?
