It looks like the config files are gone, but the binary is still hiding
somewhere. And still getting called on startup.
Look through your init files (maybe /etc/rc*, but I don't know on Sun).
You will need to clear squid out of there and it will probably point you
to the binary, too. If not, 'whereis squid' or 'which squid' can probably
tell you.
