[squid-users] Placement of squid server on network - and No. of NICs

Hi All

If you have a firewall (packet filter) with 3 network cards. 1 external Nic,
1 Internal, 1 DMZ nic.
What is the best place for the Squid box to server the internal network,
but not suffer on internet
side (i.e. the squid box fetching Internet requests from the internal
network)

Should the Squid box have to 2 nics, one for internal requests and the other
for fetching.
