Ok, when you telnet to the squid port and press enter twice, don't you get
at least an error message in the telnet console?
Also you should get somthing in access.log about invalid request.

No. but I've made an ACL entry:
acl 11bvv src 192.168.2.30/255.255.255.255
and then
http_access allow 11bvv

hm, I've never made it that way.
Besides: SQUID DOESN'T SAY _ACCESS DENIED_
It says nothing! To anyone :(
But I can telnet to that host via 3128 port.
