It seems to me that in a non-transparent mode,
only GET method (HTTP) can be issued to a squid.
And the squid is very well handling the ftp GET
request sent by a web browser.
I am curious that a squid can also accept other
HTTP method other than GET. If a use types
ftp://www.hostname.com/directory/file, a web
browser automatically issues a GET method
such as GET ftp://www.hostname.com/directory/file.
What format of URL does a user type on the
his/her web browser for a browser to
issue ,for example, a HTTP PUT(or DELETE) method?
