You can't add this feature to RPM that can't support this feature before .
because RPM a compiled version of squid that has only the binary files not
source files to add this feature . You should give the tar.gz or give
src.RPM version instead of i386.RPM version to recompile the squid .

Hi, I have noticed there are a lot of options to compile into squid such as delay pools snmp etc.. e.g ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid --enable-delay-pools I have the rpm version of squid. How do I enable such things. I know with a tar.gz you un tar it then run configure... Is it something like rpm -Uvh squidxx.i386.rpm --enable-delay-pools? Can someone please breifly explain.
