Ok, I think I get it.
As long as you connect to an ftp server via http:// you are fine.
As soon as you try via ftp:// you are out of luck?
So, if I click on a link to download a file from an ftp server as
http://ftp.mydomain.com/donloadthis.exe Squid will work.
If I click on a link that does ftp://ftp.mydomain.com/downloadthis.exe Squid
will not work.
