I downloaded and compiled squid 2.5 with ----
/configure --enable-xmalloc-statistics --enable-icmp --enable-delay-pools
-- enable-snmp --enable-time-hack --enable-ipf-transparent --disable-internal-dns - -prefix=/usr/squid5 '--enable-ntlm-auth-helpers=NTLMSSP fakeauth no_check' I want to get squid to authenticate (for autdit only - not access control) against an NT PDC. In the config I have put -- auth_param ntlm program /usr/bin/fakeauth_auth I had to manually compile (by going into it's directory and running make, and copying it to /usr/bin) the fakeauth_auth. I get the following when I run squid Parsing Config File: Unknown authentication scheme 'ntlm'. ANy suggestions?
